![]() ![]() The story alone makes the game an already good one. Orta had been in jail her entire life before the Dragon had rescued her. The story seems basic at first but it's a spectacular one to say the least. They get awfully close to getting her but the Dragon (that i call Dragoon because it's appropriate) saves her at the last second and tells her to get on his back and escape the city. At the beginning, all you know is that the dragons were sent to destroy or capture a girl named Orta from a guard tower. At first, you don't know why but Panzer Dragoon fills in the rest later on. Panzer Dragoon Orta starts off by treating you to a spectacular cutscene that shows a couple of airships flying towards a city and to attack it with their Dragonmares. This game will go down in History as one of the last amazing rail-shooters ever made. ![]() This game is Panzer Dragoon Orta and it is, without a doubt, the best game in the Panzer Dragoon Series. The series then dissapeared for 5 years until, finally, a 4th part of the series was made. The next year Panzer Dragoon I was ported to the PC and then it made it's last appearance on the Sega Saturn in 1998 as Panzer Dragoon Saga, which got a 9.2. The sequel came only a year later, titled "Panzer Dragoon II Zwei". The first Panzer Dragoon was a launch title for the Sega Saturn and it was arguably the best of the system's launch.
